Some people are victims of such events and they need to be able to reach out for support. Deleting their journal and cutting off their plea for help is a terrible thing to do for someone who is suffering from sexual abuse such as pedophilia.
Additionally, it's ridiculous to delete someone's journal because they referenced pedophilia or sexual abuse in a work of fiction. Discussing or featuring such subjects as parts of fictional works is NOT the same as condoning or promoting them. Deletions of such journals are an attack on the freedom of expression.
